Awana Returns to Louisburg as Head Men's Soccer Coach

Following a 6 year stint as an assistant at Louisburg and a season as the Head Coach at Wake Tech, Ted Awana has been named the Head Men's Soccer Coach at Louisburg College by Athletic Director Mike Holloman.

 
Awana comes to Louisburg on the heels of his first collegiate head coaching position at Wake Tech Community College in Raleigh, NC.  While at the helm of the Eagles, Awana was in charge of all recruiting, practice planning and day-to-day operations of the program.
 
Prior to his experience at Wake Tech, Awana was an assistant at Louisburg for six seasons from 2011-17.  He was integral in the operation of the Hurricane Soccer program and the development of student-athletes both athletically and academically.
 
Awana played four years collegiality at Louisburg and Campbell University while obtaining his Associates degree and Bachelors degree.
 
Awana remains involved in the club soccer circuit with the Neuse River Futbol Alliance as the Boys Technical Director.  There he oversees multiple teams at multiple age groups while training the club's coaches.
 
Awana resides in Raleigh.  He is a 2008 graduate of Louisburg College and a 2010 graduate of Campbell University.
