Bio
Louisburg College is proud to welcome Cade Lowry as the new head coach of the Hurricanes women’s soccer program.
A native of Elizabeth City, North Carolina, Lowry brings a strong background as both a player and coach at the collegiate, semi-professional, and club levels. A four-year letter winner at North Carolina Wesleyan College, he helped lead the Battling Bishops to the 2017 USA South Conference regular-season and tournament championships. Following his collegiate career, Lowry played four seasons of semi-professional soccer with Levi United and Lazers United, competing in the United Premier Soccer League (UPSL).
As a coach, Lowry has gained valuable experience developing athletes at multiple levels. He has coached with North Carolina FC, Wake Futbol Club, and Soccer Shots in the Raleigh-Durham area, working with players ranging from youth to high school ages. Known for his technical insight and player-focused approach, he emphasizes skill development, tactical understanding, and mental preparation. His coaching philosophy centers on meeting athletes where they are and giving them the tools to grow in all areas of the game.
“A team must be a family,” Lowry says. “Soccer is a game of understanding. When players trust one another and commit to doing the simple things well, that’s when real success begins.”
Lowry holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from North Carolina Wesleyan College and will complete his master’s degree in psychology from North Carolina Central University in December 2025.
He currently resides in Cary, North Carolina, with his wife, Hannah.
