Louisburg College Esports Weekly Recap – Fortnite (Week of October 21, 2025)

Louisburg College Esports delivered another strong week in NJCAAE Fortnite (Build Division) action, with standout performances and continued growth from both Hurricane squads. The following results reflect matches played on October 14, 2025.


[LOUISBURG] FN B 1 Stays Undefeated and Climbs the Rankings

The spotlight this week shined brightly on [LOUISBURG] FN B 1, who remained undefeated with a 2–0 match record and a perfect 4–0 game record, moving up in the national rankings to #16.

The Hurricanes dominated their matchup against #7 Rose State College, earning back-to-back victories with commanding scores:

  • Game 1: Louisburg 17 – Rose State 3

  • Game 2: Louisburg 29 – Rose State 2

These decisive wins showcased the team’s coordination, map control, and elite mechanical play — a true statement of intent as they climb the NJCAAE standings.

Leading the charge was star player Zachary Deemer, whose leadership and precision were on full display. Deemer’s sharp aim and late-game decision-making secured multiple clutch eliminations, anchoring Louisburg’s dominant performance. [LOUISBURG] FN B 2 Battles Hard Against Top-Ranked Opponent

Meanwhile, [LOUISBURG] FN B 2 faced one of the toughest challenges of the week, taking on #4 Marshalltown Community College FNB 1. Despite falling short, FN B 2 showed tremendous fight and improvement in their matchup, narrowly dropping the first game 28–21 before falling in the second 19–4.

Led by sophomore Najad Daniels, the team demonstrated sharp communication and steady teamwork against one of the top programs in the country. Daniels’ aggressive playstyle and leadership have been instrumental in the squad’s development, helping them stay competitive against elite opponents.

Following the match, [LOUISBURG] FN B 2 now holds a 0–1 (0–2 game record) and sits at #30 in the NJCAAE standings. Coach Statum commended their perseverance and progress, emphasizing that experience gained in these high-level matchups will pay dividends as the season continues.
