Louisburg College men's basketball defeated Southwest Virginia Community College 106-59 on Saturday.

Antonio Patterson (19) and Malik Bryant (18) were two of five Hurricanes who scored in double figures. Every Hurricane who entered the game put points on the board.

"For the most part we took good shots against their zone, and I enjoyed watching us offensive rebound the ball today," said Louisburg College head coach Bryan Bagwell.

Jalen Harris did his job on the glass with 6 offensive rebounds. Antonio Patterson and Bass Diop were not far behind with 5 offensive rebounds apiece. De'Shone Hicks led the Hurricanes with 7 assists. And defensively, 9 out of the 10 Hurricanes who checked into the game recorded at least one steal in the game.

The Hurricanes finish up the fall semester with another home game on Tuesday at 7 pm. This time they face Vance-Granville Community College.
