LOUISBURG, N.C. – Louisburg College men's soccer stayed unbeaten with a thrilling 3-2 Region 10 victory over Wake Tech Community College on Thursday afternoon at home.

The Hurricanes (3-0 overall, 2-0 Region 10) jumped ahead early when Sheyson Martinez scored off a setup from Jaden Hilliard just five minutes into play (44:10 left in the first half).

Wake Tech responded with a free kick goal at the 19:51 mark of the first half, then pulled ahead 2-1 early in the second with 38:34 remaining.

Louisburg battled back. With 22:12 to play, Andreas Florin Olsson calmly converted a penalty kick to even the match at 2-2. The Hurricanes seized momentum late when Hilliard once again found Martinez, who buried the go-ahead goal to complete his brace and give Louisburg the 3-2 win.

The Hurricanes improve to 3-0 on the season and remain perfect in Region 10 play.
