Bio

Chris Fresco was named the head coach of Louisburg College Women's Soccer on February 15, 2021. Since being named head coach, Fresco has led the Hurricanes to a NJCAA Region 10 Division II Tournament Final appearance (2022 Runner Up) while capturing a pair of NJCAA Region 10 Division II Coach of the Year awards (2022, 2023).

Over the course of his time at Louisburg College, there have been 14 student-athletes from the women's soccer program named to the NJCAA All-Region 10 Team as well as six NJCAA All-Academic recognitions. During the 2022 season, Fresco led the program to several milestones including its first winning record since 2016, highest win percentage since 2014, and first region tournament championship appearance since 2013.

Prior to taking the helm at Louisburg College, Fresco coached for North Carolina FC Youth (NCFC) in Raleigh, NC. He has been at NCFC since 2018. Before coaching at the Raleigh-based club, Fresco was the Director of Operations and coach at New York Soccer Club (NYSC) from 2015-2018. Preceding his move to New York City, Fresco was an Assistant Coach for women’s soccer at Columbia College (South Carolina) from 2011-2015 and also a Director of Coaching for Columbia-area youth club, Lexington County Soccer Club. 

Originally from Washington State, Fresco earned his Bachelor's degree from the University of Washington and later his Master's degree in Recreation and Sport Administration from Western Kentucky University. Fresco holds his U.S. Soccer Federation (USSF) B License and United Soccer Coaches (NSCAA) Advanced National Diploma. He resides in Durham, NC with his wife and three children.
