Lady canes volleyball team get a 3-1 win over Davidson County CC

Louisburg College Volleyball team started off slow against Davidson County CC on Thursday evening. They went down to the wire in the 1st set but came up short 25-23 after a few costly errors. The team regrouped in the final three sets and came up big from the service line. They started to get Davidson out of system with some tough serves and this allowed the offense to get things in order and recover from a slow start.  "The girls really came together after a slow start. We picked up the serving and hit for a higher percentage of kills.  Rebecca Brown is doing a great job of running the offense. Lindsay Kirby is passing , serving and playing great defense. Mckenna and Ti are getting timely kills and the middles are getting more involved each set. I also like our bench play so far this season."

The canes were led by Mckenna Griffin with 21 kills, Lindsay Kirby had 8 aces and 23 digs, Jayla Thomas had 17 digs, Rebecca Brown had 40 assists

The canes have two big home conference matches this week , please come out and support the team !
